MTV Pepsi Super Fan Contest
Pepsi partnered with 2 iconic brands MTV and Much Music, to reach out to a large teen audience. Challenging participants to prove they were the Ultimate Super Fan of their band of choice, the program inspired 1000s of entries and fierce battles for the top prize. I was by Airgid Media, to develop a killer Social Media Contest.
Using a Facebook, MySpace and Twitter to drive the social networking, we enabled voting from a variety of entry points. Detailed “shrines” for top 10 contestants complete with embedded / custom video players made the experience viral and engaging for contestants and viewers. Featured on TV spots and ads regularly through out the campaign, the site was a massive success. Contestants results were displayed real-time on the site .
